Conveniently Active
Exercise Physiology
We are a team of Exercise Physiologists who specialise in prescribing exercise to people with Chronic Health Conditions. We have all undertaken at least 4 years of study at University where we learn about how to use Exercise as Medicine.
Rhiannon Walton is our founder and Senior Exercise Physiologist at Conveniently Active. When Rhiannon first started the business 5 years ago, she focused primarily on home visits, which is where the name Conveniently Active derived. She has since open two other clinics and is now also joining Kate Perkins and her team at Coastal Rehab Hub in Erina!
We pride ourselves on keeping up to date with current research, providing evidence-based Exercise to our clients. We focus on individualising exercise programs, and we do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We encourage that every BODY can move an exercise with the right program, and that is what we help to achieve with all of our clients.

About Rhiannon:
Rhiannon is a well known and experienced Exercise Physiologist on the Central Coast. Rhiannon provides Exercise Prescription for clients who have Chronic Health Complications, whether that be from medical conditions or injury/pain. Rhiannon has had vast experience within both private practice and hospital settings, and she is always keeping up to date with Exercise science to provide evidence-based exercise programs to help her clients achieve their goals.
Whilst Rhiannon sees a wide variety of people with Chronic Health Conditions, she has particular interest in Exercise for Cancer, Women’s Health, Type 2 Diabetes, Chronic Pain and Neurological Conditions.
Rhiannon has had a history of chronic injury herself since she was 9 years old due to a genetic condition – she has lived with recurrent patella dislocations from this young age and has had two major knee surgeries to help fix the problem. She has had a lifetime of knee rehabilitation and strengthening so that she could continue participating in her sports that she loved growing up such as netball, tennis, long distance running and rowing. After Rhiannon’s second surgery, she had to make changes to her exercise to lower impact options. Her favourite form of exercise is now walking, strength training and kayaking.
Rhiannon takes this experience as a positive as she can better connect with clients when it comes to injury management, and she is able to help others continue to lead active and healthy lives despite challenges faced due to medical conditions.
Outside exercise and work, Rhiannon is a Mum of a baby girl and two puppies. She loves to spend time with friends and family, especially at a picnic outside, outside overlooking the ocean.
